At the heart of this Chevelle is a Nelson Racing Engines twin-turbocharged 427ci LSX V8 built for serious performance. With twin 88mm mirror-image turbochargers, twin intercoolers, and an NRE Alien intake manifold, it produces 1300+ horsepower on pump gas and up to 1600 horsepower on race fuel. A 4L80E 4-speed automatic transmission ensures smooth, reliable shifts, while a Strange 9-inch rear end with Positraction delivers durability and traction.

Supporting these components is a heat-wrapped 3.5-inch dual exhaust system, enhancing performance and delivering a distinctive idle. This Chevelle rides on an Art Morrison GT Sport chassis tailored specifically for the 1969 hardtop.
