Guy Fieri – 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle

I guess bad tattoos and an extra 25 pounds isn’t all that Guy Fieri has going on. The star of his hit show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives has quite a lot of expendable income at this point and loves to drop it on some clean rides. The dude likes yellow apparently as well as ruining beautiful cars by painting them with silly flames, terrible logos and over the top unnecessary accessories.

All that being said, no matter how goofy the TV host is, I would take that 1971 Chevelle in a New York minute. Story goes that he saw the car for sale for $25,000 but didn’t have all the money. He pulled out his life savings, $12,000 of cash stashed in an old boot in his closet and offered the seller the cash and free meals at his restaurant for a year. After some back and forth, the Chevelle was his. “I really didn’t want a yellow car,” Fieri said. “But it grew on me and now I have a whole collection of yellow speedsters and trucks.”
