The new hit singer, who’s real name is Abél Makkonen Tesfaye, is from Canada and had a huge break when he released some of his songs anonymously onto the internet in 2009 under the name “The Weeknd.”People loved them and by 2013 he had an album on the market and The Weeknd has won two Grammy Awards and has been nominated for an Academy Award. Who says dreams can’t come true!
