His so called master opens the garage door, then slowly drives out onto the streets of the urban jungle. He comes to a stop at a red light and his anticipation grows. He hears a rumble next to him and they wait for the green light. It’s a cute little yellow ‘68 Commaro with a black racing stripe crossing the front part of her engine hood. Her driver is as cute as she is: Early 20’s. Blonde. Blue eyes, Very nice. She catches his eye and she winks, and she burns a little rubber and takes off in the darkness. He can tell right away that her Chevy is an adequate and worthy opponent…but her 350, perhaps the best engine GM ever invented. But it is no match to the 426 Cobrajet his Restomods equipped him with on the rebuild.
A few blocks down, the Panther hears a screaming adversary approach. This time, the rumble matches his own. He glances over and sees a young rebuilt stud. “Damn!” He whispers under his breath. In a dynamic totally rebuilt 1970, fire engine red Dodge Charger is his friend at Restomods. He instinct fully knows he does not want to go down the strip in this ultimate rebuild.
He returns to his lair to take a nap and think things open. He’s met his match and plans what to do next, as he drifts back to sleep in his warehouse garage.
