Built and designed by craftsmen at Bill Hall Body and Frame in Portland, Oregon, this 1966 Chevrolet Nova 2-door sedan Resto Mod shows the creativity and craftsmanship that characterize their fine work. The car features many interior body modifications, most noticeably under the hood, where most of the sheet metal has been cleaned up after the original suspension was replaced with new control arms and coilovers.

Power rack and pinion steering has also been installed along with Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes. The car is powered by a 4th generation Corvette LT4 350 CI engine, which uses electronic fuel injection fed by a neat hand fabricated inlet grafted onto the radiator support bulkhead.

Interestingly, the engine installation involved raising the mounting locations three inches for increased ground clearance. To the same end, the headers feed spent gasses into a specially made exhaust system using oval tubes. The Nova’s body was completed using OEM panels and trim before the expert application of custom-mixed Gunmetal Grey paint, and a set of 1968-vintage American Racing Torque Thrust wheels were widened and restored to take extra-wide rubber.

The color scheme extends inside, where Black leather upholstery was used to cover the original seats, door and trim panels and upper dash. Other additions include a padded billet steering wheel, Vintage Air, modified 1966-1967 Chevelle gauges and an OBD-2 computer programmed by Street and Performance.
