Tim Allen’s F-100 “Full Noise”

Base car: 1956 Ford F-100

The F-100 pickup is a favorite for hot rod designers, and Tim Allen’s model “Full Noise” shows why. Built by Ron Ebert, the car features a custom tube chassis, and under the hood you’ll find a 426ci Hemi with fuel injection. The Hemi is not, let’s say, the quietest engine, with its volume giving the truck its name. Allen told Hot Rod magazine that he “set off every car alarm on the block” while doing holeshots outside the garage. The car also features a custom suspension and steering by Ebert. It was bought by Allen for the comparatively low price (considering the amount of work that’s gone into it) of $78,000.

As much change has gone into the outside as the inside, with the pickup dramatically lowered in comparison to the stock model. The running boards are gone, the top smoothed down by three inches, the car’s eyebrows are gone, a new front pan and a whole new bed built. The rod’s custom paint is by Citrus Heights, California shop American Eagle Body.
